This class is a great introduction to a Contemporary Pilates class. It still follows a sequence and incorporates classical movements but with more variations and modifications. Slow paced for someone who has never tried Pilates before, but still challenging. The band is a great way to help clients gain feedback and deepen their practice.

Equipment : Long strap band 

What it works : Total body with a glute focus  

How much room do you need : One mat space, room for leg circles  

Tips : You can make any exercise harder by taking your hands further up the resistance band, or easier by taking your hands all the way to the edge of the band. This increases and decreases the weight. You can also use a heavier band or lighter band. The choice is yours.
