Even though this class starts slow it’s a builder. A great contemporary Pilates class incorporating some golden oldie exercises like single leg circle, double leg stretch, roll up, roll over and more. With a nice layering of reps you will definitely feel the burn whilst getting all your Pilates favourites in. If you are new to Pilates check out what we have to say in our tips section.

Paired workouts are usually a suggested fusion of both methods or an extension of the workout you have just completed.

What it works: Total body

How much room they need: 1 mat

Tips: This class is in between a beginners and an intermediate class. It starts at a beginner level and progresses because of the endurance aspect of the exercises. Rest when you need to rest. Use this workout as a benchmark for where you are in your fitness journey and build on it.

No equipment and still a full workout

4 out of 5 stars

Of the four I’ve tried I think this was my least favourite, but I think it’s completely down to preference! I’m pretty new to regular workouts but I’m finding I enjoy something at a faster pace and using equipment. Having said that, this is a great length and it’s especially great if you want to get a whole body workout but don’t have/fancy using weights, resistance bands, pilate rings etc.
