The Ab Series or Series of Five are a famous set of exercises found in most Pilates repertoires.  These set of exercises are perfect for abdominal endurance, which you need to get strong and sustain challenging Pilates workouts. They can be taken and incorporated into any workout, Pilates or fitness. They help you deepen your connection and find that two way stretch, which is the basis and foundation of Pilates.

 

Ab Series Exercises – 5, 10, 15 reps of each (depending on your level)

Double Leg Stretch

Single Straight Leg Stretch

Double Straight Leg Stretch

Criss Cross

Paired workouts are usually a suggested fusion of both methods or an extension of the workout you have just completed.
