A perfect place to start your Classical Pilates journey. James gives a lot of detail in a slow paced class, to teach you the basics and establish the foundation you need to build upon. Classical Pilates is all about learning and building a good foundation, understanding the exercises and strengthening your core.

 

Equipment Needed : Body Weight

Paired workouts are usually a suggested fusion of both methods or an extension of the workout you have just completed.

What it works : Total body  

How much room do you need : One mat space  

Tips : If you are brand new to Pilates but you are strong, with a good mind-body connection, you may find that beginners classes are not challenging enough. It is best to try as many classes and teachers as you can. These levels are guidelines. Click into an intermediate class if this class is not enough.
