If you are new to strength training this is a great workout to hone your technique and build strength. JJ incorporates loads of great lower body exercises that will lay a good foundation for you to progress from. Once you have this in place you can try some of the intermediate classes. 

Paired workouts are usually a suggested fusion of both methods or an extension of the workout you have just completed.

Tips: If you feel like you are in between beginner to intermediate you can always add weights to the first set to increase the intensity.
