Welcome to your pregnancy exercise journey. Exercise is so important during pregnancy to help support your ever changing body but also to give you some headspace and time. This programme is designed with the active pregnant body in mind taking into account not only the physiological changes but also the hormonal changes throughout the trimesters
Your goal during pregnancy is to maintain fitness and stay strong. You should be able to talk the whole way through the session and take water and breaks when you need to.
Caroline has trained 100’s of clients through their pregnancy journey and beyond. She understands that every pregnancy is different and to focus on what you can do rather than what you can’t.
The programme is designed to support you. The journey may not be linear so we suggest you aim for 2-3 of the sessions weekly and mix them up according to your energy levels. Creating a human can be exhausting work and some days will feel great and others will be more challenging.
Pregnancy can really take its toll on a body. Remember you are growing a human which is crazy when you think about it. Somedays it will feel like there is very little space and so this stretch class works on loosening the parts that get tight but not over stretching the ligaments. Remember that stretching can bring temporary realise so pair this with strength work or on its own after a physical day.
Raising your heart rate in pregnancy can seem tricky but it is perfectly safe. This workout is all low impact (no jumping) which is perfect for prenatal as it’s safe on your joints and your pelvic floor. Everyday is different in pregnancy so check that you can talk the whole way through. You will see some modifications during the session and these will help you throughout the trimesters. It’s not linear so you may feel more able in trimester than trimester 1 for example.
Being strong is super important during pregnancy and beyond. This workout helps to manage the imbalances that pregnancy creates and sets you up for being able to move well during your 40 weeks. When exercising in pregnancy it is key that you should be able to talk the whole time. Everyday is different so really check in with yourself whilst you do this class. It is safe to do throughout your pregnancy but you may find you want to add more rest in or add an extra rep depending on where you are.

Focussing on the movement and the muscles for mind body connect helping you to move well throughout all trimester.
